Built in 1972, the Jefferson Tower features 114 residential units on 20 floors.  The high rise residential building is located in the gated community of Lands of the President and adjacent to the future home of the Banyan Cay Resort and Golf Course.  Six individual units occupy each floor of the building and are accessible by two elevators shafts.  Residents on each floor share interior hallways, trash chute and common laundry rooms with two washers and two dryers, all free and well maintained.

Residents of the Jefferson Tower enjoy a list of recent upgrades to the building.  Within the past few years renovations have been completed to the lobby, social room, pool area, library, all hallways and most recently a new fitness room has been added.  Completed in early 2019, the exterior of the building has been painted, new A/C units installed for hallways and a new roof installed.

Four floor plans offer spacious private balconies in every unit and vary in size of 898 sq ft, 1,111 sq ft, 1,294 sq ft and 1,499 sq ft.  The larger units were originally constructed with “convertible” 2nd/3rd bedrooms.  Some owners have constructed a permanent wall to create a true bedroom while others have left the accordion wall or removed it to create more of a den space and larger living area.
